The U.S. workforce is at an all-time high! Inspite of what some insist is a sluggish economy, workforce participation is close to its all-time high in the U.S. Home ownership reached a record high of 68.3% of U.S. households in 2003-2005. Statistics like this tell us that the U.S. economy is strong, the opportunities for employment better and more diverse and accommodating to peoples’ needs than the general news media typically indicates.

The combination of near-maximum workforce participation, enhanced home equity, a healthy Dow, etc. have provided a great deal of discretionary income and relatively free spending.
